Welcome to my blog! I’m Mabel Walton, the marketing manager at The Talent Hackers.  We are a B2B talent acquisition support company based in Worcestershire that supports ambitious growth companies throughout the Midlands,  part of the new wave of disruption in hiring.

The Talent Hacker Client Experience and innovation has been the focal point for this month, brainstorming how we can add value for our clients through implementing new processes.  This is an area I feel particularly passionate about, marketing to me is all about promoting a positive experience for clients, which in turn, encourages brand advocacy.

I have been exploring upscaling the use of Monday.com, our cloud based project management software. This has included the integration of content planning, transferring from using Google Sheets to Monday.com to create an automated workflow. It’s also proving more efficient for Peter to approve work in this manner, particularly as I can assign items to him that need to be proofed before publishing.

An important part of innovation within an SME is incremental innovation rather than radical innovation to manage risk control. To ensure we are correctly implementing new client processes, we have decided to adopt a small-scale trial before rolling out to all clients. In doing so, it enables us to understand client response and engagement rate.

As part of promoting client experience, I organised a testimonial filming with one of our clients David Lynes at Unique IQ, enlisting the help from Will and Rob, videographers from Worcestershire based F8 The Visual Identity Agency.  David & Peter discussed Unique IQ’s hiring experience with The Talent Hackers; the interview will be released shortly across our social media platforms – keep an eye on The Talent Hacker’s LinkedIn & Twitter…

CIM Update

As mentioned in my previous blog posts, I am currently studying with The Chartered Institute of Marketing, to achieve the Diploma in Professional Marketing.  I have now completed studying the first module, and have submitted my first draft for feedback. From December I can now select my ‘elective module’, choosing between Managing Brands, Resource Management or The Digital Customer Experience. It’s fantastic to be provided with the opportunity from The Talent Hacker’s CEO Peter Chatterleyto continue my studies post university.

To chat all things CIM, marketing, growth, scaleup & more get in touch with myself mabel@thetalenthackers.com or one of the team on 0330 133 2097.
